Architecture is the reflection of society and in face of the current climate crisis it should evolve in order to reduce its environmental impact.

We believe that building a technological passive house is not enough if we use materials whose production, transport and disposal involve great energy consumption and serious emissions.

As architects, we feel responsible for protecting the environment and we want to change its current path. While society may favour a fictional notion of sustainability and often fails to acknowledge these alternatives, they objectively represent the most effective path toward the preservation of our planet.

 

We, therefore, propose a holistic architecture method in harmony with nature, which minimizes the environmental impact by considering the entire life-cycle of the building: from the extraction of raw material to the consumption during its lifespan and eventual disposal.
